Waking Slowly After

Waking Slowly After

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

The blinds sway gently.
Are you still sleeping?
I pull the covers
from between us.

I paniked and
made myself a drink.
What is your name again?
Slow painful memories.

Scribbling poems
on a napkin.
Would I fix my problem?
This sky goes forever.
