Baby Bird

Baby Bird

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Ghostly letters proved that
under every roof holds a story.
The privilege of life.
The plan of the Unnamed God.

I cannot deny the beauty of
the last time I loved someone.
Sleigh bells, a beautiful sound.
Confident and free.

Baby bird, I guess it's goodbye.
Remember me wherever I am.
The greatest act of kindness
is taking one breath at a time.

Removing all the dust,
keeping the types
of souls I want.

This could be a kind goodbye to all the lost souls left behind.
Every house does hold a secret, usually found when the dead depart.
Now that we live in the age of the computer, is the dusty old letter or photograph now gone?
