Silence Partners

Silence Partners

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

People in the snapshots.
All dead and gone
as we wake and sleep.
The sadness felt just right.
I bow in gratitude,
murmur a blessing for
those who have never returned.
Feeling gloomy & incomplete,
yet others will live better,
knowing death.

Some love ones passes by us as we live on, that's okay we find lessons through our shared lives that had gone by, every thing is never easy, we know it as we live through it. It's sad but it's never the end...

I have so many photos of people gone. To me. In my old age. The photos allow me to remember them. Somedays I wish to hear a kind voice gone. I do understand the poem my friend. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry and your thoughts.

There are things much worse than death. That's what I got from this and it is so very true. We feel sad for those who died, but at least they can't be hurt anymore. Tyfs

The sadness felt just right.
I bow in gratitude,
murmur a blessing for
those who have never returned.

I connected with these words. I felt the gloom yet quite reverence of the poem. Thank you for this piece during this trying time.
