This Black Hole

This Black Hole

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

When you appeared on my doorstep,
I was eating cereal with no milk.
Surely, I could fit all my worries inside a bathtub.
Even when I wished I could.
Took all day to stack daydreams all over the carpet.
Now there is broken glass everywhere.
Days fall into each other.
Some nights, I wake up with a black hole in my chest.
Let it be home for a mouse to crawl inside of.
