Calling

Calling

A Poem by EmaleighLynn
"

A song I wrote way back in eighth grade.

"

I’m standing here,

Alone.

Lost in the silence,

And it’s killing me.

I can hear you,

Can you heal me?

This calling,

It’s nothing like I’ve ever felt before,

And I don’t want to live no more

Without you.

It’s haunting,

Without you I’m nothing.

So help me,

Draw me into your arms,

Call me into your heart.

I want to love you.

I’m searching for you,

But I cannot find.

I’m getting desperate,

I can’t get you out of my mind.

I can hear you,

Can you heal me?

Wonderful poem of love. Beautiful theme, it's written right from the heart. Everybody wants true love and the same expects from love you just wrote into the poem. Loved it.

A powerful poem for the desire of knowing peace and happiness. Waiting is the hardest thing we must do in a life.
"Without you I’m nothing.
So help me,"
I like the ending. Always good to end the poem with a question. Thank you for the excellent poem.

This is a really good song. I would be interested to hear how it sounds.
The lyrics are really powerful and emotional, I loved the repetition of "I can hear you, can you heal me?"
Very good, indeed :)

I liked this song, it's a lovely song you written. Theme was great and nicely captured into the words. I loved how the moments you felt you just captured into the words. In the life, love flows in the heart and in the heart love always beats some rhyme. That's all i got from the poem. I enjoyed reading the poem. Well done!
