The Sky Above

The Sky Above 

Sometimes I like to watch the sky above

I like to let my mind float as the clouds do 

for only but a minute or two and remind 

myself to admire the white and blue 

The wispy whites bellow out with an innocent might

They put me in a temporary trance that fills my heart 

with glee and dance

I do not know if there is a god above 

which makes me feel scared and quite odd

But I do know that when I look up at the sky above

all I can feel is simplicity and love
