His Eyes at Night

His Eyes at Night

A Poem by Emily

His eyes at night.
In the rain.
Under the moonlight.
You can't see much.
Of his face.
But his eyes.
You can see his eyes.
And the way they look at you.
You feel like the only thing
Left on the planet.
But you're crying.
Like the rain.
And he is holding you.
And he pulls away.
He looked into my eyes.
And I could tell.
He was about to cry.
He begged me please.
Don't die tonight.
