And Then There Was Love

And Then There Was Love

A Poem by Emmy
"

I tried to be deep :P

"

Times like these make it seem too hard to believe

In that special happy ending we all crave for.

You wait for that midsummer's eve

Yhat will change your life forever.

You sit and think about your beautiful dreams,

The hopeful dreams that soon turn to nightmares.

Some feel no one's there to hear their screams,

Other souls truely feel that nobody cares.

One's advice would be to pray to a God,

One you may or may not even believe in.

You could probably say with a nod,

No one wants to be where they've been.

It's been so long since you've been held

In a way with which affection is shown.

Your agonizing screams were quelled,

But you still felt it down to your bone.

Hush-a-bye dear, close your tired eyes,

Your time will come; fate has promised.

Don't listen to their pitiful, cruel lies.

To one in this world, you'll be missed.

Your perfect love; they will find you.

Even if you hide yourself from the world,

They will show you their love is true.

Your crying soul may be found and unfurled.

There was a world where all had your life,

Worth in this world, there was nothing left of.

Someone then asked someone to be his wife.

She had fallen for him, and then there was love.

Beautiful and incredibly encouraging to the ones trapped in depression; bound by despair
