Heart....

Heart....

A Poem by Wonderland Asylum

How do you fix a broken heart,
that has been broken too many times,
by too many people?
And in too many ways?
Not just broken by an ended relationship,
but also by people no longer able to be in their life?
and what about all those times, when no one would help her,
in her darkest times?
What about the friends that stabbed her in the back,
who lied to her,
who used her?
How do you fix a broken heart,
that is no longer in pieces,
but is dust?
Do you just leave her be,
and hope that with time,
she will be over it all?
That she will have healed?
How do you fix a broken heart,
that is torn apart again, and again,
when she is separated from those she longs to be with?
Can you fix a broken heart,
that has been shattered by more than one person?
Shattered by more than one event, more than one reason?
Tell her how to fix her broken heart that sits in a pile of crumbs and dust.

Know that it’s now anything that you have done that sometimes life throws out lessons we need to learn and it can be harsh- we need to see it as this not self degrading or not being worthy- some people cannot love anyone else as they have there own issues and treating others badly is their defence- know all shall be well- look inside love yourself first then we can live others- rejection isGods protection and rather loonier than later - you want to be lived by the right one at the right time not settling for less you are worthy of so much more- love and blessings- words of heartache that are going to turn into hope🌹

I'm not sure there is any one right answer to this question. I think we all have to learn how to fix ourselves. Unfortunately you have to go through it a few times before you learn what works for you. In the meantime it is a very painful experience; good friends and a close family can help ease the pain but nothing can take it away.

Interesting structure and well written.

I have lived thru many years of what you're describing here. What I finally figured out is that I'm making bad choices, over & over. This message gives me the idea that the narrator wants to be told about some magic answer that's outside herself/himself. This pleading is familiar & well-crafted to show how many people look at heartbreak situations or a string of abandonments. I just wish your narrator could show a little progress, a little enlightenment, as to wanting to own how this keeps happening. I don't have a big appetite for people who only do the questioning, but never get to any answers. I feel your poem describes how many people look at such situations & in that way, your writing is true-to-life & relatable. It's just that I don't agree, but that's an opinion (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

A flat of creeping flowers are divided and subdivided until the whole yard is in bloom, from one small flat of flowers.
Keep out the root of bitterness and watch nature at her finest.

You fix a broken heart with a lot of love and tenderness, if that person puts all her pain in print, that is the first step towards healing, next seek support and help ... your are on the road to mending!

You're too young to have truly dusty problems. Your past is short, easier now than it will ever be to forget and replace with new memories. Use that to your advantage while you can.

You write older than your age in technical ability as well. All your stuff is well written, I'm relatively excited to see what are writing in just few months from now. Growth tends to happen rather quickly for people like you (I thinks, I don't really know you beyond your writing, so... you could be a 48 year old pedophile for all I really know)

Have you ever been skydiving or anything like that?

the only way to fix a broken heart is with another chance at love and it may be a setup for the next fall
