A Knew One

A Knew One

A Poem by Empirik

Heart wide open like the books on the street
Stepping over stones inlaid in the concrete
Tripping over one, which is loose under my feet
Laying subtle eyes on the one I am suppose to meet
Not denying the impulse
Letting go
Speaking my mind and heart from the start
In-part ready to receive any type of dart
Seeing the blood boil and return with a sparkling look
Silence bestook the environment or nook
Coming to realize the revolution of ocular stimulation
Magnetically engaging personal creation
In the lives lived
The history gives to thee
Freely under the belief of truth
Moving forward through each day
Igniting the bond their way
Forevermore in ecstasy each day
Getting old
Kissing before they say
I love you today
