A cup full of emptiness

A cup full of emptiness

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

My passion soars, desire flies
Love is a splendid thing in my eyes
To be with you, I’m yearning
The ways of love, I’m learning
While I wait on the tide’s turning
The flames of love keep burning

Tossed and blown, is how I feel
So, show me what’s really real
And still, I sigh, why oh why do I
Feel such emotion at the dream
I’m coming apart at the seam
A cup filled with of emptiness,
That's the cup I’m drinking of
Until I can drink your cup of love
