Tender madness

Tender madness

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Your smile draws my infatuation
your kisses stir my imagination
these feelings gently pull and shove
both will lead you and me to love

And love leads to a tender madness
our emotions emit such craziness
all the king’s horses and all his men
try as they may, they cannot mend

My heart once I’ve taken this fall
your eyes hold the reason for it all
once my heart feels the beat of yours
their rhythm will be one my soul adores

Love itself leads to a tender madness
I’ll take this fall with tender gladness.
