A Poem by Andrew1

It was a warm April night
When I first saw you
As Ruby in CODA
Your face
Shinier than the brightest star
Your ravenous eyes
Which like sharp Cupid's arrow pierced my heart
With a voice sweeter than a nightingale's
Since then I forgot the taste of food
I forgot to sleep
All my senses faded away
All my worries and problems faded away
For a single bigger one took it's place

Everything about you I love
Your eyes, your face, your voice, your breath
As it passed through the 6 inch screen and into me
All I do is to go through the folder
In my cheap phone which I treasure the most
For it's where I can see you
Smiling at me and I lose the track of time
All I dream of is you

I had a dream
You and I were together
I could feel the warmth of your hand
Clasped around my hand
Your eyes a cause for envy
To the stars above us
The nightingales stopped their singing
When your voice floated across the valley
For they had never heard a voice sweeter
I could feel your loving gaze
We were together
Under heaven and earth
And we were happy
But I know the dream will never come to reality
For it'll be against the rule of nature
The distance between us
Is far too much
The gulf that separates us
Is wider than the extent of the earth
The boundaries are far more stronger
Even for almighty gods to break

I can feel you everyday
I can feel the rhythms of your breath
I can feel your lovely gaze
When unknowningly your eyes meet mine's
Through my cheap phone which I treasure the most
I get overjoyed when I hear your laughter

I'm a lost wanderer
You're the Northern star
I'm lost at sea
Searching for you at the horizon
You are a princess
Ready to be crowned as a queen
By taking over the world
And you won't look at me
Longer than a second even if our paths crossed
But all I do everday is to look at you
In my cheap phone which I treasure the most
For it's where I can feel you

You're just my celebrity crush
You'll never know about my existence
Throughout your beautiful life
But I will carry yours to my grave
We're never meant to be together
But some relations are never meant to be together
Like the tide owes it's existence to the moon

Let me lay down by my cheap phone which I treasure the most
For through it I can feel you
I carry your smile in my heart when I'm all alone
Let me dream
We are together, inseparable
Where rules of nature matter not
For we are together
