The capacity of my love

The capacity of my love

A Poem by EnglishMajor55

How many times can I say I love you
with my low voice as course as sand.
How many times can I say I love you?
How many times until you fully understand.

How many times must I intertwine our fingers
so that we can walk hand in hand.
How many times must I intertwine our fingers?
How many times until you fully understand.

How many times should I look into your eyes
to escape to a magical land.
How many times should I look into your eyes?
How many times until you fully understand.

How many times can we dream together
on the stars in the sky up above.
How could you ever possibly understand?
The amount, the capacity, of my love.
