Acknowledgement

Unlike what it says up top, this is not a story. It is what the title says, acknowledgement.

As none of my (modesty be damned) masterpieces has been published so far, I’ve never had the chance to express my gratitude and extend my heartfelt thanks to all those of you who complemented on my writing and said they’d enjoyed reading my stories and pseudo-poetry. Unless they were humouring me, that is. But, nah, they sounded sincere.

Anyway, without your encouraging reviews, I’d never have been able to carry on. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I’d be hard put to name all of you wonderful people nor would I be able to select a few for fear of hurting the feelings of those I’d have left out.

I’ve learnt so much from the awesome storytellers and stellar poets here. I have yet to go back and do the editing but, sadly, laziness is one of my wonderful traits. But I’ll get to it some day.

Reading my stories, it may or may not be obvious that English is not my mother tongue. Most of my readers are from Europe and the US, so you might say that I come from the other side. No, stop snickering! That’s not what I meant.

That’s all I had to say. Now, you can go back to your life.

As you are not a formulaic writer, your constant changes of style are a breath of fresh air to me. I never suspect what is coming next, . As I 'm never disappointed (sometimes a little taken aback with your audacity)

If we are going to be sentimental, I'd like to have a few words. First of all, thank you for sharing your stories and poems with us. They are unusually good here on WC (since most, if not all of us, are beginners) and I really enjoy reading them. Which brings me to the next point of my sentimental reaction: You definitely should publish your stories in a collection! And last thing I'd like to say, (here it gets actually sentimental), unless you are really wicked and fake person (don't worry, I like think you aren't :D ), you have a great personality. You are honest, kind and look for the good in people. So, thanks for being here with us!
