Snow Angels

Snow Angels

A Poem by Andrea
"

In a world so cold, I'll teach you to fall in love with it's ice and snow.

"
The ashes of the last city
cluttered the air
and blackened most of the
falling snow flakes.
A disaster you may say,
but now there will be trees.
we all deserve the chance to grow.

It will be a December
none of the living can remember
but those who have passed away
still leave imprints in the snow

and you circle these angels
in search of something you had lost
years before the Earth was born.

you were spinning like the wind
so I crept in like the breeze
that's when we found each other

I can feel your lips, soft, between
my teeth
as I lean into the bite.
a simple kiss, our first,
our last.
Yet through this impact can
drown your sorrow,
steal your breath
free your mind
and leave you innocence
untouched

In a world so cold
I'll teach you to fall in love
with it's ice and snow.

this poem is really nice, i liked how it starts with what is seemingly a poem about snow angels, and ends up being something much bigger, i also like how you add a conflict of sorts, that gets a resolution right at the end!

Great flowing piece. Love the wording, especially
It will be a December
none of the living can remember
but those who have passed away
still leave imprints in the snow
cant be critical i'm afraid. found nothing at all wrong with this. great write.
