"Vow"

"Vow"

A Poem by Essence London
"

The relationship between mother and newly-born son.

"
A set of new tears moistens the ones from last August on the handwritten letter. She remembers how dearly she viewed her soiled underwear when the red levee was finally broken.

He squeals at the flashing colors on the television.
