Eternity In A Flower, Forever Embedded In Its Petals

Eternity In A Flower, Forever Embedded In Its Petals

A Poem by EternityWolf101
"

This is just a short poem I wrote while I was studying the planet Venus in my Earth And Space Science Class.

"

Smoke dances across the ocean with no origin

It swirls in patterns that make a line jealous

Red, blue, white, orange, and yellow

They are all burning

Burning with their individual passions

Fire kisses our cheeks as we watch

Their kinship deeply embedded into time and space

Just like the love we share for each other

It seems like we are like the fire

The smoke that dances with graceful glides

But we’re not

We are not similar

A fire can’t last forever

Its oxygen gives out and dies a painful death

Its property turns as black as the sun

Poisonous liquid that swims on an evil surface of hydrogen

Smoke flies away

Driven not by gravity

But by a desire for freedom

What are we?

We are the flower resting at the boiling ocean’s edge

We are the flower that lasts for an eternity

And our petals hold each other

Forever
