After all this time

Keeps me weak inside


Dusty words read loud
Old memories crystal clear
Familiar tastes


A warm, soft whisper
Words that are invisible
Yet strong as a shout


Nothing has changed us
You're still the sun that burns me
I, the moon that soothes


You remain, within,
Like my shadow, you're with me
