Wildest Pirate

Wildest Pirate

A Poem by Grey Evanescent
"

a metaphore

"
They say she's the wildest pirate.
She danced with the storm
and never went ashore.

She fired canons
to anything she sees,
A trauma she thought she could kill.

She married danger.
She conquered the sea with him
and death was her crew.

She ate blood fresh corpses
and drank rotten alcohol,
Said she needs it to feed her dead soul.

She sailed to the end of the world
Her ship rocked on brick hard ice
Till even her heart ran cold.

Author's Note

Grey Evanescent
Hey everyone. I wrote this when I was really lost and confused with my life. I don't really know what I'm doing anymore and I was REwatching Pirates of the Caribbean again and again at that time so somehow that's where I got the idea. :) If you ever encounter that moment, just remember that you're not alone. :)

I think when one is feeling lost and confused, these sort of poems do somehow pop up. Your wildest pirate metaphor is well written. I should think if she felt her soul was dead, she probably did feel like eating blood and rotten alcohol! Perhaps it was a blessing that 'her ship rocked on brick hard ice'. I look forward to reading another poem of yours.
