Towns blur together

Cities are all the same

You’re still on my mind

And I’m the one to blame

I should’ve never fell

I should’ve never thought

I should’ve never dreamed

Pain is all that it brought

I sit by the window

Waiting for a sign

That maybe I was wrong

To leave it all behind

But I know that it won’t come

Because how could it be wrong

If it makes you happy

Then away is where I belong

Hmm...

I'm not sure if you meant all this literally, but regardless, this is what I've learned about people:

If something goes wrong, and you feel bad, you should apologize. Any person worth being around should also be willing to apologize, especially if it is their fault. If you try to apologize, and they don't care, then they you shouldn't be around then; they will do nothing more than make you miserable.

I learned this the hard way, so I know what I'm talking about. The poem was very good, I liked it!

I recently realized that feeling depressed about walking away from someone, imagining what could have been, blaming yourself, all of that comes so easily, but the things we actually need to be doing like letting go, moving on, being happy again, seem so difficult. I just want to say that, even though going through it is going to be hard, remember there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I like your work :)
