The Wanna be Princess and the Wish to be Prince

this was a free write for creative writing and I liked it. I'm thinking it could be the beginnings of a book.

I've always loved the happily ever after books.  You know the ones where the beautiful girl gets the handsome guy at the end.  Although I have always wondered why it's never the ugly girl with pimples or the mediocre girl who blends into a crowd or the gross guy with the limp or the average guy no one sees?  Does anyone care about them?  I think I do.  I'm one of them.  And what about my "one true love?"  Is he one of them too?  How am I suppose to tell when I'm drooling after the handsome guy?

I positively love this, because this is so true! I can totally connect to what you're feeling. For those who never thought about this, like the friend I just read this piece out to, you've written an eye opener. I sometimes think about this topic too, but usually get nowhere. Keep writing!
