Avalanche of Foam

Avalanche of Foam

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver

"

     Salt and water burst downward,

            a cold horror.

More powerful than stone and steel,

            crushing both with ease.

The ocean's roar bearing it's teeth,

ready to bite the earth's flesh.

A fearsome force of poseidon's wrath,

            bringing about great nightmares.

First the enormous white fangs sprout,

           followed by a blinding blue.

As it plunges upon the soil,

           destruction follows swiftly.

This great wave of chaos appears to be,

           an avalanche of foam.
