A Flaming Angel

A Flaming Angel

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

"

      His wings burn with ferocity,

             intensified by eyes of anger.

Vengeance seeps from his shriveled heart,

             mercy completely destroyed.

Love's great curse viscously thrust upon him,

             poisoned by sorrow.

       A heavenly warrior turned hateful,

             darkness creeping closer.

Hell tightening it's grip over it's new servant,

             a flaming angel.

This peice speaks of a tale that spans an epic story. The angel who learns to love, is then torn of heart and spins vengence into the world, only to be consumed by the very flames it wished to rid itself of.
A wonderfully crafted piece of ink! Thanks for sharing your words.
