Unsteady Tides

Unsteady Tides

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2013

"

      Rushing water crashes upon sand,

sparking forth small booms of thunder.

Salty foam ramming at the shore's fortress.,

          a great symbol of ferocity.

The seas stretch out onto our beaches,

          desperately seeking to expand.

Unable to flood anymore than inches of land,

          but pushing all the same.

A beautiful description of the sea. You made me wish to have time to walk upon the beach and think. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
