Autumn's Dawn

Autumn's Dawn

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2013

"

      Leaves begin to gently fall,

          colored in all varieties.

Trees of ancient time prepare for slumber,

          ready for a long rest.

The evening sun sets on the horizon,

gleaming the last breath of summer beauty.

Winds whistle the first wave of winter's chill,

         paving the path for snow.

A new journey for earth begins,

with the birth of vibrant woods.
