Day of Silence

Day of Silence

A Poem by Noah Scott

My mouth is shut

It'll stay that way

It has been ever

Since that day

The day I found out

Who I was

It's staying shut

For those like me

Who can't be

What they want to be

This Silence could fill

An eternity

But that's ok

With me

I can wait

I'll stay strong

I won't let others

Tell me that I'm "wrong"

I'll just be me

How I want to be

And that's all that really matters.
