TIME FOR THE FOURTEENTH GLOBAL COLLABORATION!

A Poem by An owl on the moon

 

Please join our fourteenth Global Collaboration!!!

 

It’s just under a month to Christmas! So, once again it’s time to ask if you’d be part of our FOURTEENTH GLOBAL COLLABORATION!

 

The aim is for contributors to offer a gift to the world; what you’d like to bring is entirely up to you, it can be something tangible like toys or a more elusive desire such as contentment.

 

We’re inviting any and all of you to send a four line contribution similar to the one below in rhyme... or in prose:

 

Happiness envelops my heart today

As dreams of true harmony sing the air,

I wish to clothe the world in peace

A gift that the world will kindly share.

 

* If you’d like to participate, please tell us as soon as possible. Your words will remain yours even though part of the whole poem, and you’ll be credited accordingly.

 

* Plus, please comment your four lines here (including your home country) by December 7th at the latest so the verses can be edited before being posted on all the participants’ pages by December 10th.

I was asked to help out with the Christmas collab. by re-posting the Owl's invitation to join. I will pass them on; or just visit the Owl or Emma Joy's pages and add them at either place. Merry Christmas to all and to all a fine and marvelous writing.

dear Gene… Margie Barley Girl is surely OK.. as she told me about maybe two weeks go that she will be away. She is our Angel flying too close to the ground at times. I promise I will let you know if I hear from her. She is always in my Mind… as the Song goes. It will take a lot of searching to survive what she has endured. Our Prayers are always with her. dear Gene.. I believe it was Owl on the Moon who requested a Collaboration this Year 2022. I submitted a four line Poem; however, I have only seen one or two others posted. Perhaps, I was out of the Loop for a while tending to Roger and family. His pen name might be Owl on the Moon. ( my memory is fading a bit)…. But I still feel poetic. As ever, Pat

I'm friends with Craig and Jenny but I didn't contribute to the collaboration this year. There have been so many personal tragedies in our family that I've been quite overwhelmed. Our family Christmas party was cancelled. I have a sister and a niece both currently recovering from life threatening injuries and lost a close family friend to brain cancer. Because of that, it's been an effort to stir up much Christmas joy. But I put a great deal of effort into making my little girl's Christmas special anyway. Maybe next year things will be better. I hope and pray so.
