My Heart's Din

By Val Pilapil

O, Juliet, o Juliet, how fair art thee?

Doth thou feel my love?

Doth thou hear my plea?

Can I compare thee to a goddess above?

O, Juliet if I could only be nigh,

And have my sin
having word with an angel, causing me to die

For thy word best make quiet my heart and its din

Thou art a goddess that here make me blest

Thou cause me peace

And make my heart rest

And make me go through the day, with no less ease

O, Juliet, if Tybalt were naught

We would have been wed

And our love no need be fought

Though things are done, and things have been said

I continue to dream, where my love had me led
