In Love

a poem about being in love

i fell head over heels
for the way
the sadness kissed my eyelids
and turned them to waterfalls.
i fell madly in love
for the way
the razors kissed my skin
and turned it into scars.
i fell quite slowly
for the way
the anger took over my fingertips
and coursed through my veins.
but before i knew it,
i was already kicked to the ground
betrayed
by those i fell in love with.
