It's said that you know you're in love when the hardest word to say is goodbye.

A shock of electricity
only felt
by one.
Though you are not missing me
it's to you
that I run.
I love you.
Your scars,
they match mine,
as well as the stars
in your eyes.
Those heavy hours
spent alone
really show that
you've grown
into
something
for me.
But you took back
those goodbyes
and gave up
on what
we
could be.
