So Momentary

So Momentary

A Poem by Fadedspeak
"

My musings. Hope you enjoy.

"
Life is ephemeral,
but where does it drag you
whilst you still breathe?
Events simply pass time
in waves,
reminiscent of a morning sea
lying in wait
to prey upon the sun and its subtle breeze.

Life is love,
yet so is strong hatred
tied to the veins
of a deeply defaced hand,
forced to move,
forced to stand,
but you can love,
or you can land.

These accents,
they sure hang true to us.

Reality,
a language all alone,
where the lies told turn tides,
bringing frigid shade to our lefts;
leaving such fading light to our rights,
then begging all to choose:
Would you die to win
before you kill not to lose?

Brief is life,
inescapable is death into dust.
