In An Instance

In the blink of an eye everything changes, living for what’s true never dies.

In An Instance:

Within the turmoil
Where do we go-
What are the darkest
Secrets within each one
That does not show-
Within an unexpected instance the distance
That's created-
Is not that which you've
Waited upon-
It's the here and now
That could be gone-
Leaving us wondering
Why do we lie and
Keep it all tied up within-
Full of fleshly sin,

In that instance-
The void that cannot
Be fulled lingers on
In the world-
Full of chaos and distraction-
When it's too late
To start again-
And your soul
Is full of pain-
What did we gain
Out of our selfish plan-
Where we ran to and fro
But the answers
We will never know-
Where life is precious
Tried and tested-
Full of love and care
But you must be
Willing to share-
To show each day matters
Every hour and minute
Shattered-
By an hourglass untouched
By the unfailing love-
Given not bought
Nor a lesson
To be taught.
