Suffocating souls of love🌹

‘Breathless’

My heartache it
Steals
I cannot breath

I feel it in my throat
I want to choke-

The love
It’s stuck
In the pit
Of my soul-
Where it endlessly
Grows
Afraid to show

Because of things
We just don’t know

‘How will it go?’
‘How will I know?’

My stomach knots
With every blood
Vessels it clots

Emotions suffocating
Excruciating
Floods of
Everwaiting
Everwanting
Everlasting love

Turning around and
Around-
Endless thoughts
Endless sounds-
Passion profound
Lifting
The soul
Off the ground

Burning desire
Igniting
The fire-
Consuming
Lifegiving oxygen
Gasping
For air
Where are you
Out there

Leaving me bare
Naked and exposed
The torment
It grows-

Your heart
It only
Knows

The love it will
Show
Like a firefly
It will
Glow-
Lighting the
Way
On that
Oh so special
Day

Two souls entertwined
Unique love
Of only one kind-
Lifegiving kisses
For the breath
That was missing

Completing
Two souls as
One -

The journey
Has just
Begun .

and at the end the dream comes alive... how strong and effective Your words are, describing the pain, the emotional torment of Love, the want, the desire, unfulfilled... I specially love these lines,

"Leaving me bare
Naked and exposed
The torment
It grows"

it shows when pain becomes larger and larger, uncontrollable that our bodies can't handle it alone, it needs to get out... how Your words then softened, like the first gentle breeze of Spring, bringing the birth of hope and love, Your title I like very much, from Your poem I see it as, "Breathless in Love" and breathless in its pain... Thank You my friend for yet another wonderful piece.
