Lies and deceit
The things
That make
You
Cheat

From your head
To your feet
Dishonest-

What’s it got
In it?

What’s it got
On it?

Can’t see the
Right
For the
Wrong
On it-

Riding
On the bonnet
Of a stolen
Recycled
Scrapped
Piece of transport

Housing every
Wrong thought-

But
It makes me
Chuckle

What has this
For your sanity
Bought-

Your mind
Caught in
The lies
Of time

Too worried
About the
‘Me’
And
‘Mine’

What a total
Waste of time-

Juggling
Of the
Mind-

Corrupt
Form of
Mankind

When will you
See
The sign-

The signs of
The times

Do they not
Trouble your
Mind-

Don’t they make
You want to
Turn your
Life around-
To find
The truth
That you need

To set you free

Free
From the chains
Of insanity
And fleshly
Plans-

Unshackle
Yourself-
You’ve lost
All your
Wealth-
Storerooms
Await-

Golden are the gates

The treasure
Is no
Measure
To the peace
You so seek-

Until you reach
The peak of
Destruction-
You won’t listen
To instruction-

Choices are yours
No matter
The flaws-
You are your
Worst best
Enemy and
Cause-

I wash my hands
Of
Satan’s plans
Your blood
Has been redeemed
It’s not as bad
As it seems
Open your heart
Reach
For your
Dreams.

The pain and damage a lie can cause, could last for a life time. I can feel your words through the screen. Lets hope that when someone reaches the peak of destruction, they'll turn their life around. Great poem, thank you for sharing.

selfishness, ego, greed... I think of those while reading Your words, why people lie? many different reasons, the fear of their image to be broken on big reason, wealth never is what You keep in Your store, but what You carry and store within Your soul, many people will keep running after the external treasures, they won't know what the real treasure is, I'm afraid even if the reach the peak of destruction, they will not learn.

Your anger, Your despair are felt my dear, if only they will read Your wonderful poem, learn and "wake up", I hope You are not dealing with someone like them right now.

Lol- how did you guess- u know I always write in the world around me- sometimes we allow ourselves to keep giving people chances after chances just to be shown that it’s not worth it- we can take a horse to water but can’t make it drink- so sad they selling their souls to darkness- when will they see the light- but like you say some may never- well the word of God says that if you have tried and they don’t want to listen the blood is no longer on your hands you can wash your hands- that’s what I’m going to do finally- let go and let God have His way now- Thankyou for your amazing contribution of understanding and thought- love and blessings🌹
