Oh lantern
Lonesome
On the
Windowsill

Oh how you
Shine so
Beautifully
Your flame
Is soft and
Gentle

Touching
Spirits
Far and wide
It’s there
Where many
Hide-
In unknown
Thoughts
And words
Unheard

The soul
It cries for
More
Searching
For that
Open door-

Oh guide
The way
For those
Lost hearts
Whose dreams
Have gone
Astray-

Return those
Dreams
At the light
Of day-

Oh lantern
Show the way

Renew their
Hope
So they can
Cope
And put their
Fears
At bay -

Oh candle
Show
