Casualty in Canada

Casualty in Canada

A Poem by Fairplay

Casualty in Canada

Paramedics are all on strike

just as their T Shirt Says

A bloody funny way to go

we have seen better days

Of course it won’t affect you

unless here comes the crunch

You have to visit casualty

they can be a funny bunch

Seems that time is on their side

with stretchers wall to wall

With no-one really in a rush

sick lame n lazy oap’s and all

The experts know the score

that life is just a queue

Just keep your fingers crossed

the next one isn’t you

They might save your money

when you vacate a bed

On your way to heaven or Hell

as they pronounce you dead
