Easter Bunny

Easter bunny hopping through the lane
With a basket at hand and not an ounce of pain
Enough chocolates for all to eat
Even more than Christmas; a fantastic treat
Every child every man every woman in sight
For chocolate they will gobble with delight
All weekend they will eat their treats
Feast on meals and then the sweets
Chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner
None the wiser, none the thinner
The weekend slowly comes to a close
Back to reality like the tip of your nose
The Easter bunny hops away
A little snicker from watching all the play
Knowing he added to the fun
And left out, no, not one
As sure as the dinners we had made to bake
The weekend ends with a belly ache
But that's okay because it's true
The fun we had was time spent with you.

Very cute. I loved the line "none the wiser, none the thinner." I did think that the line "As sure as the dinners we had made to bake" seemed a little awkward, but overall great job of rhyming. The playful tone was perfect and the rainbow colors only added to it.
