My Sonnet

You eyes glisten like the rain or the snow.

Your smile, as beautiful as natures beauty itself.

Your love, I cherish as if it were my child.

Your heart, I will never break.

You are mine, You always will be.

Your mind holds all you know, all you have.

I wish to know what happens in your head,

And then to help you through life.

Your words, I could listen to them forever, never letting you stop talking.

Telling me all you know and care about.

Your life, I want to be in it forever,

Never leaving you as I am yours.

And my love for you stronger than the angel of the heavens,

As you are the Angel of my heart.

Even if not a sonnet it ws a good poem in itself with words of description of someone loved in the heart in many ways. Well anyways it was a lovely piece of writing.

Alright, not a sonnet (it DID have fourteen lines, but wasn't in iambic pentameter, or have a strict rhyme scheme) but I think the fact that sonnets are so strict yet are supposed to reveal love is a bit...counterproductive. Although Shakespeare was a master at it. But your poem was...a sonnet with poetic licence and cute. It was sweet, so who cares if it's a sonnet or not? This could just be a modern sonnet or something. :)
