She taught me.

She taught me.

A Poem by Farhan Shaikh
"

Poem describes love ...for a girl he misses

"
She taught me how to not fear,
when I was let down by others..

She taught me how to stand again,
when I was about to lose, when there's nothing to hold on.

She taught me how to smile,
when there are sorrows around,
when there's tears in my eyes.

She taught me how to come out of dark with our own,
when there's no one to pull, when I was afraid.

she taught me how to believe in ourselves,
when others are
against,
But she never taught me One thing,
How to live, when she's not around.

An emotional piece, powerful piece. When you find the one who stand by you through thick and thin, then this is what this piece is all about. Your words ring true and have such depth and meaning behind them. To find 'the one' is so difficult to do. But when you do, then this piece is exactly how you will begin to feel.

Such a short piece, but such impacting words.
Great work.

Mark.

Thank you! ...
I see you blew everyone away with the last line. A heart wrenching piece but a pleasant one indeed. At first there was curiosity and than *BOOM* in the face. Nice one :)

That's really kind words Luna thank you 😊
This is so well written. Whether it is a mother or a teacher , we cannot live without them . Transcends lovely and emotional vibes!

But she never taught me One thing,
How to live, when she's not around..

The last lines hit me hard....

Such a beautiful piece of writing. It brings a tear to my eye. It makes me think of my mother and that makes me cry. Just an all around amazing piece of writing.

Scaring away potential friends one line at a time.
This is made even more touching by that first word, 'she' . You've created a heart by using that word, then wrapped it with emotions and thought and.. learning. A sad finish but actually exactly how it is when a support, a love, a guardian in and for your life, falls away for some reason. Yes, a sad finish that proves that woman's value in life.

Thank you Emma for your kind review and precious time
"she taught me how to believe in ourselves,
when others are against,
But she never taught me One thing,
How to live, when she's not around.."

You started it with great love in your mind, Did not expect you would end it with great despair. Still it was good even if you twist it around in the last part because you slowly brings the reader to that part when you slowly talks about what you cannot do. Well done. -CAPOLAVORO
