I didnt do a thing today

just sat alone

listened to music that makes me feel alive

im a mess

a walking cliche

im myself

im me

and im not sure where the line starts to fade

move slow

talk softly 

give me something to believe in

cause i dont belive in much anymore

im tired

but ive slept for hours

i feel week

but i know im strong

give me something to find faith in

cause i dont have faith in anything anymore

im not depressed but im not happy

i would laugh if i could remember how

i would smile

its all a mystery now

i would live if i could find someone to rely on

but everyone i find is wrong

i just dont want to lie anymore

this doubt in my mind

is a doubt that i chose

and thiugh i know it isnt right

like a plant it shall grow

till it covers me in its roots and sprout flowers out in droves

breaks the skin as it flows

cut deep inside the fabric 

and leaves splinters in my clothes

build me something beautiful

beautiful in time

build me a life

im proud to consider mine

construct for me a path

that leeds me to my mind

so i can find it and hold it

with my heart intertwind
