Like Alice in Wonderland

It's my not cup of tea

But if it's agreeable to you

Please take a seat and join me

For we have much to talk about

Since we last met.

Sit down and please help yourself to tea

Although I don't drink it

It's such a vile thing.

But the weather is good

As is the company

And there's much to discuss

Like jumping jacks

And funny clowns,

Talking rabbits

And ticking clocks.

Come join me if you so wish

I won't promise you anything

Except for decent company

If that's your cup of tea

For it's certainly not mine

And we can enjoy the sunshine 

While it lasts.

Must you run away so fast?

I was only trying to be blunt but polite.

Oh look, there goes another person

Looking longingly at my tea.

Let me try to catch him,

Silly fool running away like the last person

Looking at me like I'm the Mad Hatter.

I certainly know what I'm doing

In the middle of the park

Near the subway

Where there are lot's of people passing by.

Isn't anyone going to join me for tea?
The weather is good as is the company.

Hi y'all! This poem is as silly as can be! It's been a long time...I blame life! But I recently watched Alice in Wonderland (again!) and from that I got this poem. Hope y'all like it!
