Paint

A Poem by Fearless Sunshine

splattered across a canvas
perfectly aligned brush strokes
stars in the eyes of the beholder
like midnight twilight
staring at the creation
its not artwork
but emotion
out of the heart
in the soul
life's beauty
hope for all
a drip comes out of place
it rolls down the painted picture
like a teardrop on one's cheek
then comes another
and another
and then one more
that is the last one
the canvas is blank once more
except for the remnants
the dregs have left their mark
like a permanent marker
it never goes away

Few cosmetic edits, but this had a nice easy flow to it. The imagery is not forced but the reader can see the small drops rolling down. Nice work
