Broken Through His To Find His Other

I wrote this after reading a story based upon abusive relationships

a dozen knives hanging over my head
no words ever spoken
overcrowded
yet quiet
where is the way out?
twenty million doors in surrounding halls
choose the right one or I will fall
pacing back
to a better time
where is that time?
stuck inside your captivated underworld
along with alike
this cycle
has no end
where is the end?
one wrong move, no question
can't lose my attention
one step away
from lava
where is this coming from?
i never meant to be in your war
it is one against one million
but you still have the key
to an another billion
lies
rumors
and pain
most unmerciful pain
i liked your facade better
when it was "let her do what she wants"
it was just the start
until came the part
not death
but greater pain
like walking on nothing
but my shattered body...
                ... and heart
