Equallity is Dead to Me

Equallity is Dead to Me

A Poem by nicolas taylor carlin

I treat everyone equally

Until they treat me differently

So I make them see what they want to see

As they open their eyes

And close their mind

They can see whatever

They want to

A f****t, an a*****e, a b***h, a w***e

Because I don't really care anymore

I realize now that they are

Worthless to me

They mean nothing

They are dead to me

We all are mirrors...we treat others as they treat us. Starting off treating everyone equally is kind and compassionate. I hope you are always able to do this. Having said this, I will add that giving people a second chance is a good idea in certain situations. Good expression of emotion in this poem. Lydi**

A poem of defiance, Nick. A big FY to narrow mindedness and to the narrow minded. Poetry is one way of resisting this, but also is not allowing anyone to "define" you. Post your poem on the school halls!! Well, maybe not but... I enjoy reading your poetry Nick. ~~redzone
