I wonder if you ever think of me
at random times throughout the day
I wonder if you ever think the same things I think of you
I sometimes want to ask you
but I don't want the answer to be no

do you ever want to feel our bodies pressed against each other
our lips intertwined
feeling complete in each others arms

do you ever want to stare into my eyes
and tell me you love me
and that you will never stop loving me

do you ever want to cuddle up together
to wake up in the morning and see me lying right next to you
do you think of how someday it just may come true

do you ever get jealous when I talk about other guys
do you ever wish that just maybe it was you
but then think i'm too good for you

do you ever daydream about the taste of my lips
the way we would be one night in Paris
staring down at me as we gaze into each others eyes

do you think of how amazing it is to know me
how glad you are to love me
how perfect I am to you

and the thing is
is you most definitely don't
and you probably
never will
and I have to accept that.....
and I don't want to accept it.....
so I don't ask

Awesome poem! I can relate from a man's perspective. If that makes since. But I really liked the flow and the style that you used. It makes your writing unique. I appreciate you sharing your writings and look forward to reading more of your writing. Sometimes it is better not to ask anyway, becuase I am sometimes afraid that I will not get the answer that I am looking for.
