I trust you

God will always find a way.

I looked ahead and saw nothing

I marched forward to get something

I kept going, I kept going

But still, I found nothing

 

I asked if that was it for me

Had I lost the meaning to my life, to my being

Dead ends all around,

where could  I go? Who could I be?

I sat where I stood, asking again if that was it for me

 

In the mirror I saw a dead person

One locked up in her own prison

Her face resembles that of a ghost

Her dreams are crushed

She’s dead, dead from the soul

 

But I saw the light in my dreams, I saw you

You showed me the way, you gave me a clue

Why had I been so blue?

Knowing you are always here, always true

I guess for a second I doubted you

 

I can’t say everyday is perfect

But from now I’ll let you be my life’s architect

I will trust you God through and through

I am alive now because of you.

I myself am not much of a religious man - I find my hope in the people around me, and the promise of making tomorrow a better day than yesterday. However, despite me not having the same Faith as you, I can feel the surging passion and love towards your beliefs, and it's a very serene feeling to find that you've found your forever Hope. Times when so many of us feel utterly alone. Searching for something, somewhere can make the spirit really fade.. but perhaps trust and hope helps.. if you see a spark, somewhere. What intense but sincere words here, Li.

Hopelessness is not hopelessness until we give up having hope.
In time of pain and depression, in time of worries and confusion, when all seems to be over and nothing seems real, I think there's still a way a point where we neglected to look at.

Love your uplifting poem, telling us we can look at it very well, we'll see the light wait for us at the end of the dark tunnel.

And knowing the reason for being alive could make the spirit more stronger to travel the miles.
And I'm glad you know you're not alone but with God who is the architect of our lives. That is a strong faith.

Yes Kay, there is always a way out but sometimes we become to blind or too overwhelmed to see. It's amazing when God pulls you out from darkness.

“Ill let you be my life’s architect”. I wish i had that certainty. I’ve experienced this struggle so many times i lost count. I ask the same questions everyone else does. “Where are you?” I love how simply you put it.

There are too many variables we can't control in our life, too many uncertainties and it can be quite too much for us to handle on our own. We can only do so much, but giving your life to God simply means you no longer need to control everything and it is such a relief. Keep asking that question Anne, I am sure He will answer you soon.
