In the haze

At first I thought this one was some kind of suicide scenario, but then, upon consideration, it comes across as one who is facing some kind of choice which lies outside the comfort zone. Whoever is being addressed must be someone trusted who has made the leap. Now the speaker must decide what to do. The title is very appropriate.
