An imbued ardour

Sad emotions chase you till you chase them. Once you stop chasing, the good ones will start chasing you. :)

Emotions are temporary,
They may be tough and strong,
But to the contrary,
They do not last long.

The longer you chase,
And think about being happy,
The more good things you erase,
And even the left ones turn crappy!

Defeats and setbacks,
Don't they sound so typical?
I can ply you with a hack,
Forget them and unexplainedly giggle!

Actually that's what you need,
No criticism, no negativity.
Because, if you to pay them heed,
You won't ever hit fixity!

Thoughts and emotions aren't the same. You may be a master of your thought but you still can be a slave to your emotions. So, you need to learn to have control over them.

Great write. This poem shines with positivity, one of my strong suits. I am so glad to see you keep writing. Love the free flow of the peice, liked that you didn't force the rhymes to make them happen - Seemed very natural.
