Rag Doll

Rag Doll

A Poem by Scarlett
"

This is basically standing up for myself, as a girl, as a person, against anyone who thought/thinks they're worthy of putting me down.

"
I'm not a toy here for your pleasure
I may be a girl but I'm not a doll
I have a past, a present and a future
I hurt when i feel pain and I smile when i feel happy
I have hobbies and interests, morals and standards
Hopes and dreams, fears and nightmares
When you prick me, I bleed
When you push me, I fall
And I can just as easily stand up to you and tell you where to go.

I AM NOT A TOY

Can I ask what please and thank you has to do with this poem?

Good for you!

I love the power and individuality to this, shows your worth, shows your character.

Remember though, to say 'please' now and again - failing that, 'thank you' :)
